Street Cricket

If you don’t want to deal with all the rules of indoor cricket, there’s always good old ‘galli’ cricket, also known as street cricket. Played with a tennis ball wrapped in electric tape, this is as care-free as cricket gets, where talent is emphasized over technique and rules.

And since we provide all the equipment (a UAE first), you don’t have to throw the ball to the umpire every three overs so he can re-tape it for you. We do it all. All you have to do is hit a six, or send the middle stump cartwheeling. Or do both. If you can.

Did you know?

Since the 1970s, every major cricket star from Pakistan started out playing street cricket before they ever played formally in a cricket ground.

Ideal number of players: 14 – 16 (2 teams of 7 – 8)
